Make-a-wish

Generous friends are the best type of friends and the kindness of Little Friends Creche has been rewarded 10 fold. Teresa Leddy (Prop) was delighted to be presented with 10 tickets for the Make A Wish Masquerade Crystal Ball, the top prize for all the donaters who took part in this years NCNA Pyjama Day. Teresa also presented the Make A Wish Foundation with a cheque for €1,825.86 as they were the beneficiaries of this years fundraiser. Graduation 2009
The children who are leaving us this year to go on to Primary school had their graduation ceremony on the 23rd of June. We’ll miss them and we wish them well.

Official Opening
Brendan Smith TD performed the official opening of the creche on the 3rd of April. The party was nice and many parents, workmen who helped on the building, family and friends came along.

Pyjama Day
Pyjama Day was organised by the National Children’s Nurseries Association to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All the children and staff came in their pyjamas. This photo was on the front page of the Anglo Celt, our local paper.

Visit to the Fire Station
On 28th of January we took the older children to visit the Cavan Fire Station. The Kids LOVED it and the firemen were very nice and friendly and showed them everything.

Christmas Party
Santy arrived at the creche with presents for the children, accompanied by his snowman who had to be revived regularly with icy cold drinks because he’d started to melt

Halloween Party
The Halloween party held in 2008 was great crack, although some of the visitors were a bit frightening. Which one scares you the most?
